It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of another mid-term and are left with just half of the term. In the past couple of weeks, students have been busy learning from each other and preparing for the 'Celebration of Learning'.
Students learned and practised the strategy of the 'Box method' to solve multiplication problems using number cards.
During this week, students of Grade 3 also had an opportunity to attend a session of 'Cookie decoration' held and hosted by the team of 'Sodexo'.
The highlight of the last week of this mid-term has been the 'Celebration of Learning', where the students expressed their understanding and learning. Parents witnessed the achievement of their children while attending this event. They were all appreciative of the presentations done by the students.
Students also made the parents practise their learning through a play-based approach.
Students were read aloud a book titled- 'It's My Way or The Highway' by a famous children's book author- Julia Cook. It was a nice way to end the mid-term.
Students have learned grammar through play with resources. They have solved the puzzle of famous places in India. They practised reading Hindi library books and wrote hard words in their spell drill section.
Students also practised line graphs during Maths sessions. They analyzed the graphs and interpreted them with the questions provided.
Mindfulness session for Grades 1 to 3 during the assemblies.
